Update July 27, 2025

Update! I’m still pushing through, recovering from my double mastectomy. As many of you know, I experienced bleeding after my double mastectomy and lost almost a full liter of blood. Thank God I had discernment to stay for observation after my surgery due to my history ( they gave me the option of going home!) I bled within 2 hours of being in my room, my blood pressure started to drop really low, and I felt dizzy. The team notified the surgeon immediately, and I was rushed back to the OR! Thank God I wasn’t at home! They are keeping me off of work still to recover, but it’s still UNPAID leave until Novemberof this year. I start radiation July 31st, I will receive 20 cycles over 4 weeks, so I will still need to be off work. After that I will need multiple reconstruction surgeries over the next year. Any financial help is appreciated, and prayers and well wishes are ALWAYS welcome! Things are moving and shifting, and I’m praying for financial breakthrough! There has been progress on my disability claim, some progress is better than noneMy family and I are making it by the grace of God!The kids are doing well, growing like weeds, but happy and healthy! My husband James has applied for over 60 jobs since graduating in May. Any legitimate job leads are appreciated!
